Allie Angelo is a wellness professional who recently changed her career path from marketing and PR to health, wellness, and yoga. She is currently attending the Institute for Integrative Nutrition to receive her Health Coaching and Integrative Nutrition Specialist degree. After graduation, she plans to begin her Yoga Teacher Training in the Fall of 2019, after over a decade of practicing yoga. Allie hopes to combine her Health and Nutrition education with her Yoga Teacher certification in order to create a private practice geared towards assisting people in identifying and reaching their health and wellness goals. As a recovering addict, Allie has a special interest in working with those in recovery. She plans to complete Y12SR training next year and has begun the process of working with Y12SR and other similar organizations to help others in recovery find the happy, healthy life they want. In addition to her education and charity work, Allie is also employed at Zen Yoga Studio in Brunswick, Ohio, where she works the front desk, manages daily studio tasks, works on studio marketing and graphics, and more. She is also the owner of The Lace Poppy, a handmade jewelry business that offers high-quality, handmade boho, gemstone, and yoga-inspired jewelry for the modern badass babe. Allie lives in Richfield, Ohio with her two babies; a 1.5 year old boy named Aaron and a 5 year old flat-coated retriever named Sadie, and her husband. She enjoys reading, writing, yoga, wellness, exploring new health and wellness trends, designing and making jewelry, being a proud eco-mom and conscious consumer, advocating for non-toxic products, working with others in recovery, hiking, playing with her dog, and spending time with her amazing son and husband!
