A mix of moss covered woods, back country camp sites and fire roads lead to a magical cabin in the woods and fire tower that overlooks our beautiful mountain valley. We will descend the ridge down steep terrain to Shaver Lake. Breath in the Appalachian air as you take your time exploring Snowshoe Back country. Bring a snack to enjoy on the deck. This is an up and back trip with time to relax throughout.
Class time devoted to lecture: 5-10 minutes
