I'm an Athlete, I do Yoga

We used to classify ourselves as being an athlete if we played a sport. A sport defined by the public, not by ourselves. Now we are athletes because we move. We move because we enjoy it, we are more aware of our bodies and because we found yoga. This class is for all of those who refer to themselves as an athlete or those who want to learn more. The first 10 minutes of class will focus why keeping your body healthy in the long run will make you the happiest version of yourself, then we will move into a 10 minute success and vision focused mediation. Now we get moving – we will all workout together in a 20-30 minutes boot camp class followed by a 30 minute vinyasa yoga practice. You will learn more about yourself, develop mental and emotional strength and have fun. Be the best version of yourself and see you in class!
Class time devoted to lecture: 5-10 minutes

Wanderlust Snowshoe Triathlon

Join the fun for Wanderlust Snowshoe Triathlon! We will begin with a short group meditation to prepare our minds and bodies for what they are about to take on for the next 60 minutes. Then we will kick start our triathlon around Snowshoe Mountain with a 15 minute run, then move into a 15 minute boot camp class followed by a 30-minute yoga for athletes approach to a yoga practice to close the session.

"Yoga for Athletes" will offer the body specific poses designed to release an athlete's muscles after all of the work that we have put into the day and to feel stretched and relaxed as we close the session. All levels are encouraged to attend so that you can see and feel how the body adapts to all kinds of fitness and yoga as well as recovers so you are on your way into your next adventure.
