Find yourself moving through yoga poses while floating on this magical thing called a paddle board. Breath in fresh mountain air, breathe out anything that does not serve you during this day. Practice your balance, but remember this is not so serious yoga. We insist on having fun while moving through a super fun class. Beginners through advanced welcome. Challenge your senses in every way.

SUP Yoga: Peaceful Warriors of the Water

If you are new to yoga, SUP or both, you are invited to join me on the water for a memorable outdoor, floating yoga experience.

Class will begin with a moment of silence to bring awareness to the uniqueness of the space & your breath - taking time to soak in the beauty of the West Virginia sky, the lake, the birds and all that surrounds you.

Throughout this mindful yet powerful heart & hip opening flow you'll have opportunities to take in the beauty of your surroundings, finding balance on the water, within yourself and becoming one with this truly unique space.

Practice will be sealed with savasana, guided relaxation, loving kindness and a moment of gratitude.


Enjoy a lovely water taxi ride back to shore where you are encouraged to stay and journal about your experience or enjoy a quiet moment in the hammocks nearby.

Dress in layers for comfort. Bring a towel for additional comfort.

SUP Yoga: Heart Opening Backbends & Water Wheels
Limited Capacity seats available

In this heart opening class we will explore the benefits of core strength and flexibility with invigorating backbends.

Class will begin with a moment of silence to connect you to your breath, your board and the elements around you. Gentle, grounded, breath synced movements will warm your spine and help you feel more comfortable moving on the board. Before you know it, you'll be flowing through a breath focused practice with grace and ease, opening up your body and mind to the possibilities to take taking deeper backbends on the board. After you've gained confidence and stability you will learn the basics of flipping upside down and holding yourself up in water wheels and inversions. Expect discovery, play and lots of laughter! After you've explored your edges you'll settle into yin like postures where you can reconnect with your breath and more deeply with yourself.

Practice will be sealed with floating savasana, loving kindness and space for gratitude.

You'll be taxied to shore feeling blissfully refreshed and rejuvenated.

Dress in layers and bring a towel if you'd like a little extra comfort during savasana.

By connecting with the spirit of water we learn to let go of struggle and practice yielding to the natural flow of life. Floating in the uncharted waters can be a scary thing but trusting in the flow of life and surrendering to the unknown can develop a deeper sense of who we are, connecting us with a deeper sense of clarity and purpose.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, over stressed and exhausted, this practice holds the space for empathy and loving- kindness.

Take time to nurture yourself, love yourself and find the clarity that comes with stilling the waters of the soul.
